Like I said, I'm still tweaking a lot and would really like to hear what others have done. I haven't experimented with it much, but will probably end up increasing it. Curious what others have found.ĭetection Sound: I don't have much of a problem with the default, but would still like to experiment.ĭetection Sound LOS: This one is pretty interesting. I'm still playing with this quite a bit, but set it to 30.ĭetection Light Exterior: I haven't experimented with this one as much, but it's probably good to increase as well. Sneak Base Value: Generally, I think players start too good at sneaking, so I decreased this to -20, but this is personal preference.ĭetection Light: One of the main complaints with default sneaking is that it's not sufficiently dependent on light, so increase. I decreased this to 140, but am still tweaking. Haven't tested much.ĭetection FOV: The default FOV is really wide (190), so they can even see slightly behind them. Sneak Scale Detection: Decrease if you think you get too good at sneaking at high levels. Sneak Level Base: I decrease this a little bit and increase the light parameters, so that sneaking is overall a little bit more difficult, but way more dependent on light. 60 - 120 seconds, or even higher.ĪI Search Time: Also think this should go up, but that's more personal preference. Enemy detection works on line-of-sight, with players being able to use. I don't know about you, but I would probably be spending a little bit more than 10 seconds searching for an attacker that just shot me instead of going "Must've been seeing things.". Dishonored 2 is a 2016 action-adventure video game developed by Arkane Studios and published. NPCs only spend 10 or 15 seconds searching for you after they've been hit by a fucking arrow. I have finished most of the world building and have come across a problem with NPCs and their detection radius. I haven't done a pure stealth play through since using SkyTweak, so still a lot of tuning to do.ĪI Search Time Attacked: This obviously needs to go way up. - Spawning in 20 Guards and 40 Bears and watching them fight. I'm definitely still messing around with them.

Looked up my settings, and found that I messed them up at some point! Rather than give specifics, I'll give my general strategy for tweaking these. Not on my gaming machine ATM, so can't look up the settings, but it was mostly tweaking how long NPCs would take to search for me, how much light matters, etc. I finally switched to just playing around with settings in SkyTweak until I was happy.

I would often find random NPCs detecting me from absurd distances. For instance, I found bandits in that tower on the way to Bleak Falls Barrow could detect me when I on the road to the West entrance to Riverwood. Immersive detection of NPC seemed to cause NPCs to detect you from crazy long distances, even through foliage and such. Immersive NPC in the Dark has well known bugs, particularly with NPC torch handling.

SKYRIM IMMERSIVE DETECTION OF NPC MODS
Honestly, I found both mods to be problematic in separate ways.
